Data Visualisation Techniques

This seminar will introduce you to some basic techniques and give you useful tips for when you are trying to present your data visually.

This seminar will include a 30-minute talk followed by a Q&A session, covering topics such as use of colour, choice of visualisation technique, how to avoid some common pitfalls and making sure you are not misrepresenting your data. These are general principles but there will be a focus on spatial data to introduce the practical workshops later in the semester.

Due to high demand for our training events, our cancellation and no-show policy applies to bookings for this event. Click here for details of this policy
