Training: Introduction to Spatial Data and GIS

Spatial analysis underpins a wide range of research across numerous fields, from tracking the movements of people, to considering the impact of location, to studying environmental change.

This workshop will introduce you to spatial data and how it can be used. We'll cover some of the issues that surround the data and then get to grips with viewing and styling it in GIS Software. After that we will look at some of the ways you can create your own spatial data.
