Are you a PhD student or Early Career Researcher in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences? If you’re looking to develop relationships with other CAHSS researchers, join us for our first PhD & ECR Social of the semester.

The Centre for Data, Culture & Society, part of the Edinburgh Futures Institute, provides events, advice, training, and resources tailored to digital research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Our aim is to foster data-led and applied computational research, empowering researchers to engage with data and digital methods. Our events focus on both informing and connecting participants, helping to build supportive networks among like-minded researchers.

This social event is an excellent chance for PhDs, ECRs, and affiliates in the wider EFI community to network and build new connections. It's the perfect setting to meet other researchers, share ideas, and explore potential collaborations as the semester begins. Join us for an evening of conversation, complimentary food and drinks, and discover how CDCS can support your research.

Please book a place via events.ed.ac.uk (link above), so that we can plan an order of refreshments!

Room 2.55, Edinburgh Futures Institute
