CDCS Research Associate: Suzanne Black
Suzanne Black is a researcher whose work sits at the intersection of humanities enquiry and data-led methods. Her PhD (University of Edinburgh, 2021) explored the effects of internet technologies on contemporary fiction. She currently works in the CoSTAR Foresight Lab combining data-led practices with creative industries experience. Her research interests lie in applying computational stylistics to born-digital fanfiction (using Python, the Natural Language Toolkit, topic modelling, stylometry, data visualisation and network modelling).
