New Services at Centre for Research Collections

A new collection of services at the Centre for Research Collections (CRC) and the School of Scottish Studies Archive & Library (SSSA) has been launched to support online, in-person and hybrid access to heritage collections. 

The CRC Reading Room opening hours have been extended, and a new Virtual Reading Room service has been introduced for users unable to visit in person. The centre's visualisers enable hybrid teaching and engagement to reach broad audiences.

As 29 George Square remains closed, access to the School of Scottish Studies Archive & Library has been taken online or moved to the CRC reading room.

New services include a Streaming Service for Sound Archives, access to physical collections in the CRC reading room, and Request / Scan & Deliver for books in the library.
