Workshop: Collecting Social Media Data

This workshop will guide you through the process of obtaining social media data online. Participants will be introduced to using 'Facepager' for obtaining Facebook data (subject to availability), and the 'TwitteR' R package for obtaining Twitter data.

The workshop is aimed at postgraduate students and staff in social science or humanities who have limited experience in programming but want to learn the fundamental skills to start harvesting social media data.
