Benazir is a political communication and social media researcher and enthusiast. Currently, she is a full-time second-year PhD in Politics at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh. Additionally, she has experience as a researcher and lecturer (currently non-active) at the Faculty of Communication Science, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. She is an avid qualitative researcher with the capability to conduct quantitative research and is eagerly exploring digital research methods. Her current research focus is on the intersection of political communication and social media, mainly focusing on social media activism. She is currently working with mixed methods in the efforts to collaborate the qualitative and quantitative analysis of social media data to present more comprehensive, concrete, and contextual research findings.
